Common Candy-striped Spider
  Common Candy-striped Spider (Enoplognatha ovata, form redimita), with her egg sac, Alwins Field, 6 August 2024. There are three forms, one of them having no red stripes and the other with only one stripe. They are very small spiders.





Speckled Bush-cricket
  Female Speckled Bush-cricket, Alwins Field, 5 August 2024. You can see her long curved ovipositor and you may notice that she is missing her right rear leg. Crickets often drop a rear leg to distract an attacking predator while she escapes.
